Welcome to Ingleside

Ingleside is a warm, nurturing and therapeutic children’s home in the heart of Colwyn Bay, North Wales. A stunning arts and crafts property, the house has been converted into a safe, stable and supportive environment for up to four young people, aged 5 to 18 years.

In addition to the main home, Ingleside benefits from an adjoining annex that allows us to provide enhanced support where needed. This flexible space offers a quieter, lower-stimulation environment for young people who may require additional supervision, structured routines or support during waking nights.

Located just a 5-minute stroll to the beach, and within easy reach of some of North Wales most popular attractions, Ingleside provides young people with access to a wide range of educational, recreational and community opportunities. From outdoor adventures in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park to local sports, creative activities and community engagement, we encourage every young person to discover new interests, develop life skills and enjoy positive experiences.

PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy)

At the centre of our approach is the PACE model which helps us build meaningful relationships and support emotional wellbeing. We work closely with young people, families, social workers and other professionals to develop personalised care plans that promote safety, confidence, independence and long-term success.

We understand that many young people who come to Ingleside have experienced significant adversity, including trauma, disrupted attachments, exploitation, loss or instability. Our dedicated team provides highly individualised care based on trust, consistency and positive relationships, creating a secure foundation where young people can feel valued, understood and supported.
